October 20 The Traveller ReturnethHave been away for so long now. It is good to be home once again.
This time for good. Never for bad.
Be strong for the weakened. September 11 September 11thIts Tuesday September 11th. It should be just like any other Tuesday. Do the laundry. Hoover the lounge. Get some groceries in. But it isn't like any other Tuesday. Because 6 years ago a small group of people decided to change the world forever.
For that is all it was. A small group of people. Whether it was 100 people, a thousand people or even a million people. In the grand scheme of things, it was a SMALL group. And what they did on this day in 2001 will NEVER be forgotten. There is no going back. The world did change that day. And because of that day, the world is still changing. All because of a small group of people.
Caesar. Attila. Pol Pot. Robespierre. Hirohito. Hitler. Gadaffi. Bin Laden. Some of them were born into dynasties that made them who they became. Some inherited thier leadership through battle. And some are just plain evil. But all are just mere men. Thoughout history it has been one man leading wars against many things. Wars over land. Wars over resources. Wars over religion. Just one man. As soon as somebody agrees with that one man, he has an army. And as soon as he has an army, more people will agree with him. Get two such men and you have a conflict.
History has taught us this. Its about time we started to learn it. May 16 Hell in a hand cartDid anybody else see the news story last week about the woman who entered into a Civil Partnership with her lesbian lover and was then arrested because she was still married to her husband? She was charged with bigamy. What is the world coming to? Civil Partnerships are NOT marriages so how can she be a bigamist? Either they are marriages or they are not. I'm not saying that I have anything against lezzas and puffs. My views are not relevant in this matter. The law and the church and whoever need to decide exactly what a Civil Partnership is. I know they already have rules. Quite detailed rules. But if Civil Partnerships are not to be recognised as weddings how can a bigamy charge stand?
Feel free to enlighten me.

Broadsword May 08 HomeI'm very sorry for not being here for the past month. I've been away. Can't say where, but I wouldn't recommend it as a holiday destination.
Just got back this weekend. Family seem well and friends seem mostly unaffected by time. It may take me a while to re-adjust to "normality" but I will try. Thank you for the emails of support from certain quarters. You know who you are. In fact you know too much but I appreciate your words of comfort.
Now that I'm back to life, I'd better start living it.

March 05 Getting startedIts harder than it looks is this spaces thing. I'm sortin thru a few ideas and I'll probably get to do them this week. Thanks to those nice people who have left comments and accepted me as a frend. I'll try to justify your faith in me.
